Opportunity Physician Assistant - Pediatrics Job Details Provide inpatient pediatric surgery coverage with 15‑20 patient encounters per shift Shifts are structured as 7am-7pm (inhouse) or 7pm-7am (night beeper call, must be within 10 minutes of the hospital) Weeknight beeper call and 24‑hour weekend beeper call required Providers MUST be willing to work nights and weekends Minimum of 3‑4 shifts per week required, with full‑time coverage also considered Guaranteed 12 hours per day with overtime applying after 12 hours per day Patient population is pediatric only - providers will not be seeing adults (maximum patient age 16‑17 years old) When on call, provider must arrive within 10 minutes from the hotel; a call room is available onsite Qualifications Active Texas license required - licensed in TX only Board certification required (BC only) DEA required Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS Clean NPDB, clean malpractice history, and clean background check required for emergency credentialing Estimated credentialing timeframe is 45 days; emergency credentialing available for clean files with potential start date in August A Teams interview will be conducted for each candidate Compensation Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. #J-18808-Ljbffr BAS Healthcare, Inc
